I find that Joss Whedon has become predictable and almost unoriginal. It is sad that I can almost tell his stories as he does.

So, being bored at work, I tend to surf.

At times, I play at The Kingdom of Loathing for some silly questing action. I will say that the black Sabertooth Lime Shirt is teh awesome!

Game Music Online is fun to poke around in. As is CD Baby.

VG Cats Pokemon related cartoons are cracking me the heck up. Shortpacked is pretty fun at times as well.

Or I just read up on the new 4th edition of D&D which is exciting.

I is good at not working!

So, after seeing the movie for Sweeney Todd which was really good, but a bit too slasher for me, I looked to see when the Sweeney Todd Tour was coming for the musical.

So, going into it I knew that it was going to be unusual. This production only has 10 people not the normal 30 in most musicals, and the actors on stage play the instruments while doing the show. So no huge orchestra, just those 10 actors, singing and playing for the entire show.

It was absolutely incredible. It was one of those shows that made me miss theatre and also made me think that I wasn't good enough to be in a show that good.

Minor quibbles with some of the staging, but over all, I was completely blown away by it. Of all my theatre experiences, it is very near the top (hard to be Wicked on Broadway 8 rows back dead center).

If you have any possible way of seeing it, I would suggest trying to see it. I almost felt that I underpaid for what I got. I am still thinking about it today.

I am not sure how I feel about Buffy Season 8, Issue  #10.

It answers a problem that I had, but I am not sure it made it better.

I Am A: Lawful Good Human Wizard (5th Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-11

Dexterity-13

Constitution-13

Intelligence-15

Wisdom-15

Charisma-13

Alignment:
Lawful Good A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. He tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion. However, lawful good can be a dangerous alignment because it restricts freedom and criminalizes self-interest.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Wizards are arcane spellcasters who depend on intensive study to create their magic. To wizards, magic is not a talent but a difficult, rewarding art. When they are prepared for battle, wizards can use their spells to devastating effect. When caught by surprise, they are vulnerable. The wizard's strength is her spells, everything else is secondary. She learns new spells as she experiments and grows in experience, and she can also learn them from other wizards. In addition, over time a wizard learns to manipulate her spells so they go farther, work better, or are improved in some other way. A wizard can call a familiar- a small, magical, animal companion that serves her. With a high Intelligence, wizards are capable of casting very high levels of spells.

I was reading the following:

http://www.popsucker.net/2007/12/pictures_of_sad_children.html

"No, not Pictures For Sad Children, the wonderful webcomic by John Campbell. No, these are actual photographs of children who were given lollipops and had them taken away. Seriously. Pictures of children crying. You know, in case you wanted one over your mantel or something.

Admittedly, these photos are quite striking in their expression of raw emotion. Cruel? Well...yeah. But photography is serious business. And these things appear to be selling for over four thousand bucks. Suck it up, kids."

So, I went the gallery. It was quite striking. At the bottom of the page was an odd little saying: "View Monkey Portraits" and an arrow.

How can you say no to "View Monkey Portraits"?!
